All Saints and God’s World Church
Each year about 5 percent of All Saints’ local receipts are passed on to the larger church agencies for church and charity work in the United States and overseas in many of the world’s most needy countries.
Lutheran World Relief (LWR) coordinates much of this global work and builds sustainable development in the poorest nations as well as responding to humanitarian emergencies and disasters. LWR receives high ratings from nonprofit evaluating sites such as Charity Navigator and Charity Watch.
The synod unites about 175 congregations with over 50,000 members throughout Florida and the Bahamas.
The ELCA is one of the two largest national Lutheran bodies in the US and contains about 9200 congregations throughout the country and the parts of the Caribbean with some 3.5 million members.
ASLC also supports part of the work of two church missionaries In Jamaica.
