All Saints and God’s World Church

All Saints Lutheran Church Chalice and Caraf

Each year about 5 percent of All Saints’ local receipts are passed on to the larger church agencies for church and charity work in the United States and overseas in many of the world’s most needy countries.

Lutheran World Relief (LWR) coordinates much of this global work and builds sustainable development in the poorest nations as well as responding to humanitarian emergencies and disasters. LWR receives high ratings from nonprofit evaluating sites such as Charity Navigator and Charity Watch.

All Saints is a member congregation of the Florida-Bahamas Synod of the Evangelical Church in America (ELCA).

The synod unites about 175 congregations with over 50,000 members throughout Florida and the Bahamas.

The ELCA is one of the two largest national Lutheran bodies in the US and contains about 9200 congregations throughout the country and the parts of the Caribbean with some 3.5 million members.

ASLC also supports part of the work of two church missionaries In Jamaica.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. Indeed God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.”

John 3:16–17
