What to Expect

All Saints Lutheran Church in Port Orange, FL.

We value all who seek God’s grace. Come in whatever you wish to wear. Most worshipers Sunday wear business casual clothing. A few prefer coats and ties. On Saturday many members wear shorts.

Types of Services

Both of our services are in the liturgical Lutheran tradition, centered on the Word of God read from the Bible and interpreted by the pastor’s sermon and music of the choir and bands. Each service offers weekly optional communion. Sunday’s service (10:30) largely follows the standard Lutheran liturgy. On Saturday afternoon (4:30) everything is less formal while keeping the same quality content. Music is much livelier.

We are happy to see you on our website and in church! Please introduce yourself to other members and visitors, many of them seasonal. If you are a guest, tell us how we may serve you.

We have two offerings. One is “Change for Change,” with every penny given to community agencies helping poor and burdened neighbors. The other is for normal operating expenses; about a tenth of this is given away to support God’s larger national and global charitable and missionary work.

If you are a guest, please do not feel obligated to give: we are delighted to see you!

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. Indeed God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.”

John 3:16–17
